Lots of fleet shield doctrines will have active hardeners, given there’s no passive Omni hardeners like EANMs for shield, and some armor fleet doctrines will have a active hardener to plug a resist hole, or in some cases a full set of hardeners (I know at one point Co2’s Thanatos fits ran full active hardeners). So it’s one less thing to worry about cap wise. For pvp, generally passive hardeners are preferred, as neuts will shut off active hardeners. If you’re doing pve, usually will see active hardeners for the one or two damage types the NPCs deal. You usually get more resist on active, but a little cap usage. Small 'Accommodation' Vestment Reconstructer IĪctive versus passive depends. Last not is that I'm Alpha but looking to go Omega soon. Make goal is to do high sec exploration, combat sites, relic sites and data sites in the one ship. Now the only problem is I don't know if it is any good unless I test it but I was wondering if from a glance can anyone tell me if this is a bad idea, any improvements I can make or any other advice would be helpful. I came across the Sunesis and it seems like not a bad ship for the job, I'm not really hugely experience in Eve with what ships are good for what but I have a bit of an idea and I wanted to try my hand at fitting a ship myself. I have started up again and now am getting back into exploring which I find very fun at the moment and I want to run some combat sites in high sec since I see so many. I never got any good when I played before, only did missioning and started doing some exploration but eventually gave up and left Eve until now. I have gotten into Eve again after a very long time, about 6 years maybe.
